Rachid Sefrioui energizing a crowd of 700 people! it was quite unusual to perform this american-style Rah-rah motivational session in a typically subdued culture in North Africa. But it was an essential moment because it served the Company to rally all 700 people around a single commonality.

The objective was to focus on the notions of Team and Customer for staff members that came from 18 different companies and are now under one merged entity.

Dark ballroom, punshy music and live mic with each subsidiary's team claiming their identity while joining the now bigger team.

Rachid Sefrioui - Featured Speaker on technology at Banking Group

Rachid Sefrioui had the privilege of being selected to be one of the three speakers at the 2009 Annual Executive Conference of this international Banking Group, gathering 300 of its executives from around the World.

The speech was about Entrepreneurship and Innovation. 

The bank had demonstrated incredible investment flair starting in 2000 about investing in the technology sector, even though many of its contemporaries had decided to shut down their investments in this sector.

Furthermore, the bank decided to energize its SMEs portfolio by helping local entrepreneurs consolidate their stakes into larger companies in order to better face international competition and facilitate access to innovation.

Truly a great group of people!

L'Executive Club is a gathering of French-speaking chief executives in Silicon Valley. Its goal is to create a working as well as a support group for top executives in a convivial atmosphere. Meetings will include top executives from start-ups to billion dollar companies. This is a "community" of CEOs who share their resources, knowledge and experience to support their peers and to achieve greater success through smarter networking.

L'Executive Club is the top of the pyramid of the large French-speaking networking organization Interfrench, which includes Frenchip (3,500 members for social & informal networking) and SiliconFrench (1,400 members for professional and business networking).

Rachid Sefrioui was the Featured Speaker at the Caltech Enterprise Forum.

The Caltech/MIT Enterprise forum is a joint venture of Caltech's Industrial Relations Center, Caltech’s Office of Technology Transfer, the Caltech Alumni Association and the MIT Alumni Association.

Through its monthly programs, the Forum provides advice, support, education and networking opportunities to technology-based ventures in the Southern California area.

Programs address a range of key entrepreneurial issues from financing, marketing and business planning to executive leadership and staffing. Case presentations feature companies in emerging technology areas reviewing their business plans with expert panelists.

 Rachid Sefrioui invited to speak at the UCLA Venture Law seminar as a practicing Venture Capital investor in the California venture community.

The seminar examined the nature and structure of, and the multidisciplinary legal rules relevant to, start-up companies and venture capital transactions.

The seminar approaches venture capital from both a theoretical and practical perspective.  We analyzed the venture capital process, from initial formation of the start-up company through exit, giving particular consideration to the control structures and incentive mechanisms implemented at each stage.
